Balochistan Assembly member Maulana Hidayat-ur-Rehman Baloch, accompanied by Assistant Commissioner Pasni Khusro Dalwari, conducted surprise inspections of several government offices, including the Fish Harbour, Fisheries Department, Municipal Committee, Government Degree College, RHC Hospital, and Omani Grant Hospital.
The MPA expressed deep concern over absenteeism, administrative lapses, and service deficiencies. He directed department heads to submit detailed reports and demanded urgent action to protect coastal communities, tackle the trawler mafia, and improve municipal services, including sanitation and drainage systems.
During the visit to Fish Harbour Authority, he noted the managing director’s absence and informed that the matter has been reported to the Chief Minister, who has taken serious notice. Regarding municipal services, Maulana Baloch warned of strict administrative measures if improvements are not implemented and announced plans to address these issues in a special committee and on the Assembly floor. He urged citizens to actively participate in highlighting governance gaps to ensure accountability and transparency.
