To mark International Anti-Corruption Day, a seminar was held at the Municipal Committee Hall Surab under the directives of Deputy Commissioner Sahabzada Najeebullah. Additional Deputy Commissioner Salman Ali Buleddi presided over the event.
District officers, municipal councilors, political leaders, social activists, and citizens participated in large numbers. Speakers highlighted the social and economic harms of corruption and stressed the importance of transparent governance.
ADC Buleddi said corruption not only causes financial losses but also blocks national progress. He emphasized strengthening institutions and enforcing laws alongside public cooperation to eliminate corrupt practices.
Municipal Committee Chairman Advocate Muneer Azad Rodeni discussed the broad societal impacts of corruption and reiterated the administration’s commitment to a strict zero-tolerance policy. Participants appreciated government measures aimed at accountability and good governance.
