An evening review meeting of the ongoing national polio vaccination campaign was held in Chaman under the chairmanship of Deputy Commissioner Habib Ahmed Bangulzai to assess first-day performance and address operational challenges.

Health officials, district coordinators, Emergency Operations Centre representatives, monitors, and field staff attended the meeting, presenting detailed reports from various union councils. The briefing highlighted vaccination coverage, refusals, access issues, and field-level challenges.

Deputy Commissioner Bangulzai issued firm instructions, stressing that no child under the age of five should be left unvaccinated. He directed teams to strengthen monitoring, ensure timely reporting, and enhance community engagement to counter resistance and misinformation.

He emphasized that the eradication of polio remains a national priority and requires dedication, professionalism, and integrity from all involved. Officials were instructed to remain vigilant throughout the campaign and ensure that missed children are promptly traced and vaccinated.
