SSP Abdul Aziz Sarpara Assumes Charge of N-65 Highway, Pledges Crackdown on Overloading and Speeding

Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Highway N-65, Haji Abdul Aziz Sarpara, has assumed charge of his new assignment, pledging strict enforcement of highway laws with a special focus on preventing overloading and traffic accidents. Representatives of Bakhtiarabad Press Club, including President (R) Lillah Yar Domki and Vice President Liaquat Ali Domki, met the newly appointed officer and extended congratulations on his posting.

During the meeting, SSP Sarpara made it clear that overloading of passenger and commercial vehicles would not be tolerated under any circumstances. He said firm action would continue against violators to ensure the safety of commuters traveling on the busy N-65 highway. He emphasized that highway police personnel remain alert at all times and are prepared to provide immediate rescue and first aid to accident victims, shifting them to nearby hospitals without delay.

Highlighting the dangers of overspeeding, SSP Sarpara described it as a serious offence responsible for most fatal accidents. He stressed that strict implementation of traffic laws would be ensured and negligence would not be forgiven. Addressing the public, he urged drivers to cooperate with highway police, avoid using search lights, refrain from overloading, and strictly observe speed limits. Motorcyclists were particularly advised to wear helmets. He also assured that public complaints could be lodged directly at the SSP Highway office for prompt redressal.
