Karachi: Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam (JUI-F) chief Maulana Fazlur Rehman has arrived in Karachi, party spokesperson Aslam Ghauri confirmed. He was received at the airport by senior JUI leader Maulana Rashid Soomro and other party officials.
According to Aslam Ghauri, Maulana Fazlur Rehman will address large public gatherings across Karachi and other parts of Sindh during his visit. He will also participate in a high-level conference of religious parties and scholars, where key national and religious matters, including proposed constitutional amendments, will be discussed in detail. Important decisions are expected during the meeting.
The JUI spokesperson said that Maulana Fazlur Rehman will address the Tahafuz Deeni Madaris Conference in Lyari on December 21, followed by a Unity of Ummah seminar in Karachi on December 22. He is also scheduled to speak at similar conferences in Larkana on December 23 and at Manzilgah, Sukkur, on December 24.
