Under the chairmanship of Chief Minister Mir Sarfaraz Bugti, a high-level meeting reviewed Quetta’s cleanliness and municipal arrangements. Participants included Local Government Advisor Nawabzada Baba Amir Hamza Zehri and Chief Secretary Shakil Qadir Khan. The Chief Minister expressed dissatisfaction with current standards and ordered an impartial survey to gauge public opinion and performance. Strict directives were issued to improve sanitation, establish a fast-response complaint mechanism, and fine individuals littering public spaces. CCTV cameras will monitor public areas to ensure compliance. He emphasized that a clean, healthy, and organized Quetta requires both institutional efforts and public cooperation and reiterated the government’s commitment to making Quetta a model capital city.
