Loralai, January 10:
Loralai Police, in coordination with the Crime Investigation Agency (CIA), carried out a series of successful operations against narcotics dealers, arresting four suspects and recovering a significant quantity of hashish in different parts of the district.
The operations were conducted on the directives of DIG Loralai Range Junaid Ahmed Sheikh and under the supervision of SSP Loralai Malik Muhammad Asghar Usman. Multiple police stations and CIA teams took part in separate, intelligence-based raids aimed at curbing the growing menace of drugs in the region.
In the first operation, City Police Loralai arrested two alleged drug peddlers and recovered over one kilogram of hashish from their possession. In another action, the CIA team apprehended a suspect from the Mekhtar area and seized more than one kilogram of narcotics. A third operation by Loralai Saddar Police resulted in the arrest of another accused along with additional hashish.
Police officials confirmed that separate cases have been registered against all arrested suspects under the Control of Narcotics Substances Act, and further investigations are underway to identify possible links with wider drug networks.
Law enforcement authorities reiterated that the crackdown against drug trafficking will be intensified across the district. They warned that no individual involved in the drug trade would be spared and vowed to continue strict action to protect youth and society from the harmful effects of narcotics.
