ISLAMABAD, Jan 10: President Asif Ali Zardari on Friday lauded the professional conduct of security forces and police following the killing of 11 militants in intelligence-based operations in North Waziristan and Kurram districts.
In a statement issued by the President House Media Wing, the president said the fight against Fitna Al Khwarij would continue until its complete elimination. He reaffirmed the state’s resolve to eradicate terrorism from the country.
President Zardari said the role of security forces and law enforcement agencies in protecting the lives and property of citizens was commendable, adding that their sacrifices were vital for ensuring lasting peace and stability.
He reiterated that the nation stood united with its security institutions in the ongoing war against terrorism and expressed confidence that their continued efforts would lead to further successes.
