Speaker of the Azad Jammu and Kashmir Legislative Assembly, Chaudhry Latif Akbar, on Thursday chaired an important meeting to review administrative arrangements for the upcoming Speakers’ Conference scheduled to be held on February 10–11, 2026, at a local hotel in Muzaffarabad.
The meeting discussed in detail the conference arrangements, including security, protocol, guest transportation, accommodation, media coverage, and other related matters. Concerned officers briefed the Speaker on the progress of preparations and steps taken to ensure the smooth and successful conduct of the event.
Chaudhry Latif Akbar emphasized that the Speakers’ Conference is an event of national importance and directed that all arrangements be completed in a timely manner, strictly in accordance with high standards. He stressed the need for exemplary hospitality and instructed all concerned departments to work in close coordination to fulfill their responsibilities effectively.
