Uthal: A deworming campaign will be conducted from January 20 to 22 in Uthal, targeting children aged 5 to 15 in Lasbela and Hub districts. Trained teams will visit homes and schools to administer medicine and raise awareness about intestinal worms and their impact on children’s health, growth, and learning.
Additional Deputy Commissioner Lasbela, Siraj Ahmed Baloch, along with Chairman Lasbela Sardar Abdul Rasheed Phorai, District Health Officer Dr. Abdul Hameed Baloch, and representatives of the Pakistan Deworming Initiative, emphasized the importance of the campaign for children’s well-being. Awareness materials and media were used to educate parents, teachers, and the community. Officials stressed that regular deworming is essential to ensure a healthy and productive future for children.
