ISLAMABAD, Jan 22: Inspector General National Highways and Motorway Police (NHMP) Sultan Ahmed Chaudhry pinned ranks on officers promoted from Sub-Inspector to Inspector during a ceremony held at the Hamaid Shakeel Auditorium, NHMP Headquarters.
The ceremony was organized following the decisions of the Departmental Promotion Committee. Senior officers, promoted inspectors along with their families, and NHMP officials attended the event. A special prayer was offered for martyrs, while DIG Headquarters Afzal Ahmed Kausar delivered the welcome address.
Addressing the gathering, the IG NHMP said promotions reflect officers’ dedication, hard work, and professional competence, adding that higher rank brings greater responsibility in public service. He emphasized integrity, courteous behaviour, impartial law enforcement, and quality training as key factors behind NHMP’s strong public reputation. The promoted officers belong to Balochistan, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Sindh, and Punjab.
