Quetta, January 26: Maulana Abdul Wasey, Provincial Emir of Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam (F), has strongly criticized both the federal and provincial governments for failing to provide security, protection, and development to the people of Pakistan.
Addressing a party delegation, Maulana Wasey emphasized that while politics is necessary, it must never come at the cost of public interests or trust. He said the country is facing multiple crises, yet the rulers remain focused on personal gains, which he described as proof of their failed policies.
The JUI-F leader highlighted that his party has historically prioritized national stability and equality, and pledged to continue pursuing policies that protect public welfare. He announced that the party’s central leader, Maulana Fazal ur Rehman, will soon unveil a clear policy—through either negotiations or protests—aimed at addressing the pressing issues confronting the public.
Maulana Abdul Wasey further stressed that if JUI-F comes into power, it will pursue a strategy focused entirely on resolving public issues and ensuring governance that is recognized and appreciated by the people. “Politics must be conducted without compromising the interests of the citizens,” he said, calling on all authorities to prioritize public welfare over personal or political gain.
