Quetta, 1 February – The Speaker of the Balochistan Assembly, Captain (R) Abdul Khaliq Achakzai, has commended police and security forces for successfully thwarting coordinated terrorist attacks across multiple areas in the province. Speaking on the occasion, Achakzai stated that the terrorists aimed to create panic and fear among the public, but the timely and effective operations of law enforcement agencies neutralized their threats.
He praised the forces for their courage, professional skills, and high level of sacrifice, emphasizing that there is no room in Balochistan for elements attempting to disrupt peace. Expressing deep grief over the martyrdom of security personnel, Achakzai extended heartfelt condolences and solidarity to the families of the fallen heroes, assuring that their sacrifices will never be in vain. He urged continued coordination between the government and security agencies to maintain lasting peace and condemned any attempts to damage public property or disturb law and order.
