Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Thatta Farooq Ahmed Bijarani has ordered an inquiry into a tragic domestic incident reported in the jurisdiction of Jhirk Police Station near Tando Hafiz Shah Onger, village Katti Khosa.
According to police, the SSP took notice after reports circulated on social media claiming four deaths and four injuries. The inquiry has been assigned to SDPO Jhirk DSP Wajid Theem, SHO Jhirk Inspector Gul Hassan Kachhiyar, and Incharge Police Post Onger Sub-Inspector Ali Gul Shahani.
As per the preliminary report submitted by the SDPO, a man identified as Allah Rakhio Khoso allegedly killed his wife and two daughters during a domestic dispute. Four minor children were injured in the incident. The suspect later died from a self-inflicted gunshot wound.
Police said initial findings suggest the incident may have been triggered by domestic issues, including poverty and family discord. However, further investigation is underway to ascertain all facts.
The bodies of the deceased were shifted to Civil Hospital Hyderabad for post-mortem examination, while the injured children were referred for medical treatment.
