Peshawar, February 1, 2026:
The Bara Political Alliance declared complete solidarity with families temporarily displaced from Tiraah. In a significant jirga, tribal elders criticized the provincial government’s corruption and mismanagement in allocating 4 billion PKR for affected families. The jirga emphasized that Tiraah’s issues are a national concern requiring immediate attention. They demanded proper registration of IDPs, full implementation of aid packages, and ensured safe return. Peace initiatives were announced to prevent further attacks and shelling, restore order, and guarantee sustainable security in Bara and Tiraah. The alliance vowed to continue advocacy for displaced citizens until all commitments are fulfilled.
