Pishin, February 13, 2026: Deputy Commissioner Pishin, Mansoor Ahmed Qazi, convened a high-level meeting in Khanozai to evaluate ongoing mining operations and administrative oversight. Senior officials from the Mines & Minerals Department and other relevant authorities attended the session.
The discussion centered on current mining activities, lease management, enforcement of regulations, environmental safeguards, and revenue collection. DC Qazi instructed that all mining operations must follow transparent, merit-based procedures while strictly adhering to the law, ensuring that the rights and interests of local communities are fully protected.
He emphasized the importance of interdepartmental coordination and timely resolution of operational challenges through practical measures. Participants pledged to develop the district’s mineral resources in a structured, lawful, and responsible manner, aiming to promote sustainable economic growth and benefit for the region.
