LAHORE, Feb 15: Punjab Information Minister Azma Bokhari said more than 300,000 citizens attended the three-day Ramadan Bachat Festival across the province.
She stated that over 150 stalls offered essential items at discounts of up to 20 percent, while cleanliness was maintained under the “Suthra Punjab” initiative. Free iftar for 2,000 people per tehsil and Rs10,000 assistance under the Nigahban Ramadan Card were also announced under the leadership of Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif.
Azma Bokhari reaffirmed the government’s commitment to ensuring maximum relief for citizens during Ramadan.
