GB Apex Committee Vows to Bring Perpetrators of Recent Terror Incidents to Justice — CM Gulbar Khan Chairs High-Level Security Meeting

Chief Minister Gilgit-Baltistan (GB) Haji Gulbar Khan chaired a high-level meeting of the Gilgit-Baltistan Apex Committee held at the Apex Committee Room, Jutial, Gilgit. The meeting was attended by the Commander FCNA, Chief Secretary GB, Inspector General of Police, Home Secretary, Secretary Interior, representatives of intelligence and law enforcement agencies, and senior administrative officials.
The forum strongly condemned the recent acts of terrorism, including the attacks on Qazi Nisar Ahmed and Justice Malik Inayat-ur-Rehman, and expressed firm resolve to ensure that peace and stability in the region are not undermined. It was unanimously decided that all those involved in these heinous incidents would be brought to justice at any cost.
Chief Minister Gulbar Khan appealed to the public to remain calm, avoid confrontation, and fully cooperate with the security institutions in maintaining law and order. The Commander FCNA assured that the security forces are fully prepared to ensure the safety and protection of the people of Gilgit-Baltistan.
The forum directed the Secretary of Excise and Taxation to complete the registration of all vehicles in GB under their rightful ownership within two to three weeks, to prevent the anonymous use of vehicles by miscreants.
Participants also paid tribute to the role of all religious scholars, community leaders, and citizens who continue to contribute to maintaining peace and harmony across Gilgit-Baltistan.
The meeting concluded with a unanimous resolve that the Government of Gilgit-Baltistan, security agencies, and all stakeholders will continue to work together for lasting peace, stability, and development in the region, ensuring that those responsible for recent incidents are brought to their logical conclusion.
