Balochistan Chief Minister Highlights Corruption as Province’s Biggest Challenge, Youth as Nation’s Future
Quetta, October 7, 2025: Chief Minister of Balochistan, Mir Sarfaraz Bugti, stated that corruption, not law and order issues, is the biggest challenge facing Balochistan, affecting institutions, social structures, and youth confidence.
Addressing the closing ceremony of the Inter-University Sports Festival at BUITEMS on Anti-Corruption Day, he emphasized that without tackling corruption, development, justice, and good governance are impossible. CM Bugti highlighted the introduction of the Youth Policy, urging young people to serve the nation and reject propaganda against Pakistan.
He reiterated that the government maintains a merit-based recruitment process and that accountability agencies operate independently. The CM called upon youth to embrace honesty, integrity, and public service as fundamental values. Provincial Sports Minister Meena Majid Baloch, DG NAB Balochistan Nauman Aslam, and BUITEMS Vice-Chancellor Prof. Dr. Khalid Hafeez were also present.
