Quetta, January 2: The Balochistan cabinet, under the leadership of Chief Minister Mir Sarfraz Bugti, has approved key amendments to the Balochistan Local Council Service Rules 1981 to improve public service delivery. The amendments were approved by Secretary Local Government and Rural Development Abdul Rauf Baloch.
According to an official notification, fees and procedures related to birth and death certificates have been significantly reduced to ensure transparency and ease for citizens. Abdul Rauf Baloch said the reforms would simplify access to legal documentation and eliminate unnecessary complications.
Citizens have been advised to contact their respective local councils for details regarding the revised fees and procedures. The move reflects the provincial government’s commitment to citizen-friendly governance.
