UMT and Oxford Education Group Agree on Global Partnership in Higher Education

Lahore ( Independent Report ) President of the University of Management and Technology (UMT), Ibrahim Hasan Murad, held an important meeting with Sarwar Khawaja, Chairman of the Oxford Education Group, to discuss global trends in higher education. The meeting focused on the international role and leadership of private educational institutions and the evolving position of private universities within the global academic landscape.

Speaking on the occasion, Ibrahim Hasan Murad emphasized that international partnerships have become indispensable for ensuring quality education, strengthening research and promoting the holistic development of students. He stressed that joint initiatives are the need of the hour to elevate higher education to global standards, enabling Pakistani students to access international academic opportunities and compete effectively at the global level.

Chairman Oxford Education Group Sarwar Khawaja highlighted that expanding research, innovation and academic collaboration is key to a bright and sustainable future. He announced that practical measures would be taken to introduce reputable UK educational institutions in Pakistan, which would further strengthen academic cooperation between the two countries.

He added that collaboration between Pakistani and British institutions would not only enhance academic standards but also create new opportunities for students and faculty through joint research, exchange programs and collaborative projects.

At the end of the meeting, President UMT Ibrahim Hasan Murad presented a commemorative souvenir to Chairman Oxford Education Group Sarwar Khawaja.
