Quetta, January 22: Chief Minister Balochistan Mir Sarfraz Bugti has said that more than 3,000 anti-encroachment operations have been carried out across the province over the past few months, resulting in the sealing of over 800 illegal petrol pumps.
He said that authorities recently demolished a decade-old illegal petrol pump in Quetta built on state land and valued at over Rs1 billion. The chief minister emphasized that state land is a trust of the people of Balochistan and illegal occupation will not be tolerated under any circumstances.
Mir Sarfraz Bugti further stated that the ongoing drive against encroachments is being conducted without discrimination and that no political pressure will be entertained while enforcing the law.
