PESHAWAR: TESCO Chief Executive Syed Tahir Jamal has advised the public to exercise extra caution while using electricity during the ongoing monsoon season, warning that heavy rains significantly increase the risk of electrocution and related accidents.
In a public safety message, he said consumers should remain vigilant in the use of electrical appliances and installations, particularly during rainfall and in waterlogged conditions. He emphasized that while TESCO is taking all possible measures to safeguard life and property, public cooperation is essential to prevent avoidable incidents.
The chief executive said TESCO teams are on high alert during the rainy season and are addressing complaints on an emergency basis to ensure uninterrupted service and public safety. Consumers facing emergencies or technical issues have been advised to contact their respective SDO offices or call the TESCO helpline at 092-9330600.
He reiterated that public safety remains TESCO’s top priority.
