According to the details, the police intercepted a carrier van (MNT 6827) on the Lundi Kotal bypass and recovered 6 kilograms of ice worth millions of rupees. Two suspects, Hakim Khan and Jafar Ali, were arrested and taken into custody. During initial interrogation, they confessed to their involvement in the illicit trade and revealed the entire network.
The police have registered a case against the suspects and launched further investigation. The authorities expect to make more arrests soon, as the suspects have provided valuable information about the network.
The operation is part of the district police’s ongoing efforts to combat the menace of drugs and ice smuggling in the region. The police have vowed to continue their efforts to ensure the safety and security of the community.
