Funeral Held for Sardarzada Mir Zafarullah Khan Mengal, Son of Baloch Leader
Khuzdar/Wadh, Jan. 13, Sardarzada Mir Zafarullah Khan Mengal, the eldest son of Baloch nationalist leader Sardar Ataullah Khan Mengal and brother of Balochistan National Party (BNP) chief Sardar Akhtar Mengal, was laid to rest in his ancestral town of Wadh.
The funeral was attended by various political and tribal leaders from Sindh and Balochistan, including former Governor of Balochistan Malik Abdul Wali Kakar, former MNA Haji Mir Muhammad Hashim Notizai, and MNA Jam Abdul Karim Jokhio.
Sardar Ataullah Khan Mengal, a prominent Baloch nationalist leader, was the first Chief Minister of Balochistan, serving from 1972 to 1973. His son, Sardar Akhtar Mengal, has followed in his footsteps as the chief of the BNP.
