Crackdown on Encroachments Continues in Quetta
Quetta, Jan. 19: The district administration of Quetta has launched a crackdown on encroachments in the city, with a recent operation targeting illegal dealers in the Coal Phatak area. The operation, carried out under the supervision of Deputy Commissioner Quetta, resulted in the removal of all tents and makeshift structures, as well as the arrest of 8 individuals who were later imprisoned.
Special Magistrate City has warned residents of surrounding areas to vacate the premises immediately, threatening a grand joint operation by the district administration, municipal corporation, and police if the areas are not cleared within the stipulated time. Those found violating the orders will be arrested and held responsible.
