Governor Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Meets Delegation from Kurram District
Peshawar, Jan. 22: Governor Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Faisal Karim Kundi, met with a representative delegation from Kurram district, led by Secretary-General Jalal Hussain Tori of the Anjuman-e-Hussainia Para Chinar, at the Governor House ¹.

The delegation briefed the Governor on the current situation in Kurram district, highlighting the humanitarian crisis caused by the three-month-long blockade of the main highway. They also discussed the shortage of medicines and food items, as well as other public issues.
The delegation requested the Governor’s assistance in providing aid to those affected, as well as a relief package for the victims and injured of the recent attack on passenger buses. They also condemned the looting of a food convoy, which resulted in a loss of Rs. 5 billion, and termed it an inhumane crime.
The delegation urged the Governor to ensure that the operation against militants in Kurram district is taken to its logical conclusion. They also requested that the recent tragic incidents and public issues in Kurram district be highlighted at all forums and resolved.
