Operation Against Poppy Cultivation: 50 Acres of Land Cleared in Musakhel. independent Report.
Musakhail. Jan. 26: A successful operation against poppy cultivation was conducted today in the Musakhel area, under the leadership of Deputy Commissioner Captain (Retd) Juma Dad Mandokhail. The operation involved the participation of SHO Levies Thana Kot Khan Muhammad, Levies Force, and Levies QRF.
The operation focused on the Union Council Kot Khan Muhammad, Lori Tang, and Rod areas of Tehsil Kingri, where approximately 50 acres of land were cleared of poppy crops. The operation also resulted in the seizure of around 50 solar plates, 5 summer sails, and 3 inverters. Additionally, 7 Afghan nationals were arrested, and 5 camps established by them were dismantled.
Those involved in cultivating poppy crops were taken into custody, and FIRs were registered against them. Their lands will be confiscated by the government.
Deputy Commissioner Captain (Retd) Juma Dad Mandokhail stated that the operation will continue without discrimination until the last remnants of poppy cultivation are eradicated. He emphasized that the operation aims to prevent the destruction of the youth’s future and to combat those involved in cultivating narcotics.
