Pashtoon Ulasi Jirgah continues in Quetta: Chairman PkMAP for giving equal rights to all nationalities in country
QUETTA: The Chairman Pashtoonkhwa Milli Awami Party (PkMAP), Mehmood Khan Achakzai has emphasized upon giving due rights to all the nationalities living in the country. He said that all living in Balochistan have equal rights and every citizen has the right to live peacefully as guaranteed in the constitution. He said that our elders were martyred just because they wanted their rights and peace.
Mehmood Khan Achakzai was addressing the Pashtoon Ulasi Jirgah held under the auspices of PkMAP at a local marriage hall here on Sunday.
It was the third and last of the tribal Jirgah on Sunday, however, it was extended for one day till Monday (today).
The convener ofPashtoon Jirgah, Nawab Ayaz Jogezaiis presiding over the Jirgah.
The Chairman PkMAP maintained that his party honours all nationalities and religions and added that respect of human being is in our religion.
He said that peace is linked with justice and it doesn’t come through might.
He said that there is clearly written in the Holy Qura’an to do justice. He said that this is fact that lawlessness here is because of injustices.
He said that the tribal Jirgah strongly condemns injustices in the country.
He stressed that all nationalities should be given their due rights.
He said that disappointment may not be spread among the Pashtoon nation, rather it should be given it’s due rights.
He lamented the closure of borders with Afghanistan and said that the borders have been closed in the name of laws. He said that it was decided in the government of Prime Minister Muhammad Nawaz Sharif in the past that nationality would be given to those who is born in the country. But, this decision is yet to be implemented, he added.
He said that the children who are born here neither belong to Afghanistan nor Pakistan.
He also condemned the killing of labourers and other poor people in the province questioning that it may be told as why they were killed?
