Deputy Commissioner Quetta Launches “Zero to Hero” Vaccination Campaign

Quetta, June 14, 2025 – Deputy Commissioner Quetta, Captain (Retd) Mehrullah Badini, officially launched the “Zero to Hero” vaccination campaign, which will commence on June 16 across Balochistan, particularly in Quetta.

The campaign aims to immunize 253,000 children, from newborns to those aged five, against various diseases by administering life-saving vaccines. The objective is to protect these children from deadly diseases and ensure their health and well-being.

During the launch ceremony, Assistant Commissioner (South) Captain (Retd) Hamza Anjum, Deputy Provincial Coordinator EPI Zafar Khushi, Deputy DHO Dr. Babar Shahid, WHO Area Coordinator Dr. Safdar Zaroon, and other health officials were present.

Deputy Commissioner Quetta emphasized that the “Zero to Hero” campaign is a positive step towards a better and safer future for children. He urged all district and health department teams to work tirelessly to make the campaign a success, ensuring every child benefits from the life-saving vaccines.

The campaign is expected to play a crucial role in improving child health outcomes in Quetta and contributing to a healthier future for the region.
