PID, AJK- The Azad Jammu and Kashmir Legislative Assembly unanimously passed the resolution presented by the Minister for Mangla Affairs, Ch. Qasim Majeed. Ch. Qasim Majeed, While presenting the resolution has said that the Azad Jammu and Kashmir Legislative Assembly places on record its deep appreciation and admiration for Mr. Bilawal Bhutto Zardari MNA, the chairman of Pakistan People’s Party and former Foreign Minister of Pakistan, for his distinguished diplomatic role during a critical phase of regional instability.This august House notes that the Narendra Modi-led Indian government triggered tensions through sustained aggressive posturing following a false flag operation in the Pahalgam area, aimed at maligning Pakistan before the international community and advancing its Hindutva driven agenda for domestic political gain. It recognizes that in such a volatile environment, the world expected Pakistan to respond with maturity, wisdom, and statesmanship which its political and military leadership did, earning the respect and appreciation of the global community.The House appreciates that, at this critical juncture, Mr Bilawal Bhutto Zardari undertook a remarkable and timely diplomatic mission. He effectively conveyed Pakistan’s principled stance on peace, regional stability, and the legitimate aspirations of the Kashmiri people.This House notes with pride that Mr Bilawal Bhutto Zardari’s articulate and courageous diplomacy not only exposed India’s jingoistic narrative and aggressive designs before the international community, but also presented Pakistan as a responsible nuclear state committed to peace, dialogue, and the implementation of United Nations Security Council resolutions on Kashmir.The House eulogizes his emphasis on multilateralism, international law, and human rights, as well as his steadfast and unapologetic advocacy for the oppressed people of Indian-occupied Jammu and Kashmir.This House congratulates Mr Bilawal Bhutto Zardari for upholding Pakistan’s image as a peace-loving nation and for giving a powerful voice to the plight of the Kashmiri people at international forums with conviction, clarity, and courage.The House further urges the Government of Pakistan to continue proactive diplomacy – in the spirit demonstrated by Mr Bilawal Bhutto Zardari to counter Indian propaganda and to mobilize greater international support for the just and longstanding cause of Kashmir.
