Governor Punjab Sardar Saleem Haider Khan and Governor Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Faisal Karim Kundi met the families of those who lost their lives in the Swat tragedy in Daska.

Lahore, June 30, 2025…Governor Punjab Sardar Saleem Haider Khan and Governor Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Faisal Karim Kundi met the families of those who lost their lives in the Swat tragedy in Daska. They expressed their condolences to the bereaved family and offered Fateha.

Talking to the media on this occasion, Governor Punjab Sardar Saleem Haider Khan said that there has been a single-party government in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa for a long time, but unfortunately, such a big tragedy has happened. He said that people trapped in the flash flood drowned helplessly and Rescue 1122 and the administration could not do anything. The Governor of Punjab said that human lives could have been saved with timely and effective action, Rescue 1122 had nothing but ropes. He said that it is a matter of great sorrow that members of the same family were swept away in the  flood in front of their loved ones. He said that the entire nation is saddened by the tragedy in Swat . The Governor of Punjab said that all our sympathies are with the bereaved family.
