Foolproof Security Measures Finalized for Muharram in Sanghar District, 2392 Police Personnel Deployed, 94 Vehicles Assigned

Sanghar (Hasnain Ashiq Saand) To maintain law and order during Muharram 2025, Sanghar district police have finalized a comprehensive security plan across the district. According to officials, 201 mourning processions, 11 Tazia processions, 591 Majalis (gatherings), and 74 Imambargahs have been covered under the security arrangements.

As part of the plan, 2392 police officers and personnel have been deployed at sensitive locations. In addition, 94 police vehicles, including mobiles, motorcycles, and other security vehicles, have been assigned to strengthen patrolling and ensure rapid response.

Enhanced security operations are ongoing throughout the district, including mobile and motorcycle patrolling, checkpoints, and roadblocks. Strict surveillance is being maintained at entry and exit points, with close monitoring of suspicious individuals and vehicles. Hotels, inns, railway stations, and bus terminals are also under active checking and search operations to prevent any untoward incident.

Flag marches have been conducted to demonstrate police preparedness, while volunteer training and increased patrolling have further reinforced security. The district police have been placed on high alert.

SSP Sanghar stated that ensuring the safety of citizens’ lives and property is the top priority, and no one will be allowed to disturb the peace during the holy month.
