17 Bodybuilding Organizations Across Pakistan Join Hands with PBBF, Affiliation Certificates Issued

Islamabad, July 13, 2025: Following the recent elections of the Pakistan Bodybuilding Federation (PBBF) and the successful organization of the “National PSB Bodybuilding and Physique Championship 2025” within a short span of just 20 days, a wave of support has emerged from across the country as various bodybuilding associations, foundations, and federations expressed full confidence in the leadership of PBBF. In recognition of this support, the PBBF has officially issued affiliation certificates to 17 prominent national and international entities.
Newly elected Secretary General of PBBF, Sohail Anwar, demonstrated his organizational capabilities by quickly delivering a grand and well-structured national championship in collaboration with the Pakistan Sports Board (PSB). The event also featured an Anti-Doping Awareness Seminar and a certification session. Additionally, selection trials for the upcoming Asian Bodybuilding Championship—scheduled to take place in Thailand in August 2025—were successfully conducted.
Impressed by these prompt and professional actions, 16 leading organizations working in the field of bodybuilding and fitness formally submitted written applications to affiliate with PBBF. The affiliation process was completed during a special meeting held at the PSB headquarters immediately after the championship, where all applying organizations were granted official affiliation certificates by the federation. This milestone reflects the trust and recognition that the bodybuilding and fitness community places in the leadership of PBBF President Tariq Hassan and Secretary General Suhail Anwar, along with their shared vision for the growth of bodybuilding in Pakistan.
Among the affiliated organizations are Pak Champions Fitness Federation, Abbas Classic, Fazal Classic, Pakistan Global Powerlifting and Bodybuilding Federation, Rameez Khan Pro Classic, NBBUI Pakistan (Natural Bodybuilders’ Union of Italy – Pakistan Chapter), Yahya Classic, and Gym Association Pakistan. Additional affiliated bodies include Hassan Dada Bodybuilding and Health Organization Pakistan, Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah Bodybuilding and Fitness Organization Pakistan, Pakistan Amateur Bodybuilding Association, Younas Ch. Health and Fitness Foundation, Ijaz Health and Fitness Foundation, PBBMF Pak Lions, Judges and Technical Association of Pakistan, Get Smart Fitness Organization and World Bodybuilding and Physique Federation Pakistan.
Speaking on the occasion, Sohail Anwar said, “This trust placed in us is both an honor and a responsibility. We are committed to building a well-regulated, transparent, and internationally recognized bodybuilding sector in Pakistan.” He further stated that several more organizations are in contact for future affiliation and are expected to become formal partners of PBBF in the near future.
