Islamabad, July 14, 2025 — The Vice Chairman of the Balochistan Board of Investment and Trade (BBoIT), Mr. Bilal Khan Kakar, visited the Federation of Pakistan Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FPCCI) Capital House in Islamabad as the Chief Guest, where he met with FPCCI President Mr. Atif Ikram Sheikh and members of the business community to discuss strategic investment opportunities in Balochistan.

The meeting focused on the development and promotion of Special Economic Zones (SEZs) in the province, especially Hub SEZ and Bostan SEZ, which were highlighted as key hubs for industrialization, employment, and trade.

In his address, Mr. Bilal Khan Kakar emphasized the transformative potential of Balochistan, saying:
Balochistan is the gateway to regional trade, and our SEZs—particularly in Hub and Bostan—are positioned to become economic engines for Pakistan. With natural resources, a youthful population, and unmatched geographic access, Balochistan offers a unique value proposition for investors.

We are not only promoting infrastructure and incentives, but also focusing on empowering the youth through skill development and enterprise. Investors who come to Balochistan today will be part of shaping a resilient, prosperous, and inclusive economic future.

FPCCI President Mr. Atif Ikram Sheikh assured full support from the apex chamber, reiterating the need for policy facilitation, investor protection, and SEZ operationalization. He confirmed FPCCI’s active role in the upcoming Balochistan Summit 2025, to be held in Islamabad.
