Chief Minister Gilgit-Baltistan is set to embark on a 2-day visit to Hunza and Nagar districts, starting tomorrow. According to Special Assistant to CM on Information, Iman Shah, the CM will review the recent flood-affected areas, meet with affected families, and hold meetings with local community leaders and officials to discuss public issues and development projects.
During the visit, the CM will tour areas including Nasirabad, Ganesh, Ghalmit, and Karimabad in Hunza, and Chaprote, Hassanabad, and Nagar Khas in Nagar. The CM will also offer condolences to the family of martyred Sepoy Khush Dad of Gilgit-Baltistan Scouts in Chaprote Nagar and perform Fatiha for his soul.
The CM will meet with affected families, inspect flood-damaged sites, and receive briefings from local administration on the situation. A site briefing on the Nagar highway will also be given to the CM, where he will review the progress of construction and rehabilitation work.
The CM’s visit aims to assess the situation in flood-affected areas, provide support to affected communities, and discuss development projects and public issues with local leaders and officials. The visit reflects the government’s commitment to public welfare and ensuring the well-being of the people of Gilgit-Baltistan.
