The district administration has conducted an anti-encroachment operation at Government Boys High School Nawab Akbar Khan Bugti on Sarib Road, Quetta. During the operation, structures occupying approximately 5,000 square feet of school land were demolished. The encroachment had been in place for nearly 15 years, initially occupied by a teacher.
Assistant Commissioner (Sarib) Masoor Khan oversaw the operation, assisted by Special Magistrate Sarib Izzatullah and SHO PS New Sarib. The recovered land has been handed over to the Education Department and school administration for educational purposes.
This successful operation marks a significant step towards reclaiming public property and ensuring that educational institutions are free from encroachments. The district administration’s efforts to protect public assets and promote the rule of law are commendable.
