Deputy Commissioner Jafarabad, Khalid Khan, has taken a significant step towards addressing the water scarcity issue in the district by initiating a project to supply water to Public Health Engineering’s water reservoirs through the Kidi Branch canal.
The project aims to provide water to important water supply schemes, including Phase One, Phase Two, and Rojhan Jamali, which had been facing disruptions for a long time.
– The Deputy Commissioner reviewed the water supply process and inspected the water flow and distribution at various locations.
– He directed the Irrigation Department officials to ensure a steady water supply through the Kidi Branch canal.
The project will benefit thousands of citizens who were facing severe drinking water shortages. The Deputy Commissioner’s personal interest and continuous efforts have made it possible to restore water supply to these schemes.
The Deputy Commissioner’s initiative reflects his commitment to addressing public grievances and ensuring the well-being of the community. The project is expected to improve the lives of residents in Jafarabad district.
