Sindh Ministers Explore Electric Vehicle Charging Network in China

Meeting with officials of Chinese electric charging company AE Auto in Shanghai to discuss the development of an electric vehicle charging network across Sindh.

SHANGHAI: Sindh Senior Minister for Information, Transport and Mass Transit Sharjeel Inam Memon and Provincial Minister for Energy, Planning and Development Syed Nasir Hussain Shah held a meeting with officials of Chinese electric charging company AE Auto in Shanghai to discuss the development of an electric vehicle charging network across Sindh.

 

Company representatives briefed the ministers on modern charging technologies. Sharjeel Memon shared Sindh’s plan to establish charging stations in both urban and rural areas, stressing that the future of transport lies in clean energy and electric vehicles. He said the province is committed to protecting the environment, reducing dependence on fossil fuels, and creating green economic opportunities.

 

Syed Nasir Hussain Shah highlighted that Sindh has already made major strides in renewable energy, and electric mobility is the next logical step. He said EV adoption would ease reliance on traditional fuels and help tackle the growing challenge of climate change.

utions.
