Balochistan Govt Vows Timely, Quality Completion of Development Projects
Balochistan is executing development schemes worth billions of rupees aimed at uplifting living standards
Sohbatpur: The Balochistan government has reaffirmed its resolve to complete all development projects within stipulated timelines and in line with approved quality standards, stressing that transparency and accountability will not be compromised. Priority projects, particularly in the roads and buildings sector, are central to the provincial vision of providing modern infrastructure and improved public convenience.
Acting on the directives of Chief Minister Mir Sarfraz Bugti, Provincial Minister for Communications & Works Mir Saleem Khan Khosa, and Secretary C&W Lal Jan Jaffar, Chief Engineer C&W Nasirabad Zone Bashir Nasir—accompanied by Project Director Zafar Khosa—inspected the ongoing Sobatpur–Kashmore Road (Phase II).
During the visit, he reviewed various segments of construction and was briefed by Executive Engineer Roads Sobatpur, Jahangir Khosa, on the project’s progress. The Chief Engineer directed that the scheme be executed strictly according to the approved PC-I and delivered on schedule to ensure timely benefits for the public.
Later, he inspected building projects in Sobatpur and Usta Muhammad, accompanied by Superintending Engineers Fida Hussain Khosa and Arsala Rind, and Executive Engineers Irfan Ali and Imtiaz Ahmed Khosa.
Emphasizing quality as the government’s top priority, Bashir Nasir said, “Any compromise on standards will not be tolerated.” He instructed engineers and field staff to remain present on sites and ensure compliance with technical specifications.
He added that Balochistan is executing development schemes worth billions of rupees aimed at uplifting living standards and delivering modern facilities at citizens’ doorsteps. “The purpose of this visit,” he noted, “was not only to review progress but to examine quality—since substandard work is simply unacceptable.”
