Quetta DC Reviews Development Projects, Vows Transparency and Timely Completion

QUETTA: Deputy Commissioner Quetta, Mehrullah Badini, inspected major ongoing development projects across Sub-Division (City), pledging transparency, timely execution, and improved service delivery for citizens.
During the visit, Executive Engineer (C&W) Nushirwan Muhammad Shahi briefed him on flagship schemes, including the Mines and Mineral Complex, Tourism Directorate’s Art Gallery, Guest House, Multipurpose Hall, and Women Development Directorate projects aimed at enhancing socio-economic opportunities.
The DC also reviewed progress on the establishment of a modern Forensic Laboratory, stressing its importance in strengthening the justice system and scientific investigations.
Acknowledging technical and administrative challenges, Badini assured full administrative support to remove bottlenecks and directed contractors to ensure quality work within deadlines.
“These schemes are for the people of Quetta, and their early completion will directly improve public services,” he said, adding that timely completion would boost modernization, beautification, and the city’s economic growth.
