Balochistan Health Minister Bakht Muhammad Kakar Visits Sui and Bekar, Announces New Ambulances and Mobile Health Units for Remote Areas

Provincial Minister for Health Balochistan, Bakht Muhammad Kakar, has stated that providing basic health facilities to the people is the top priority of the provincial government. He emphasized that, under the vision of Chief Minister Balochistan, Mir Sarfraz Bugti, reforms in the health sector are being accelerated to ensure better treatment and quality medical services for citizens.
He expressed these views during his visit to Indus Hospital Bekar and Sui, where he was accompanied by Secretary Health Mujeeb-ur-Rehman Panizai. Director General Health Services, Dr. Ameen Khan Mandokhail, and Deputy Commissioner Dera Bugti, Zohaib ul Haq, were also present. The Health Minister and senior officials thoroughly reviewed the available medical facilities and observed the challenges faced by the public.
Later, in a meeting with tribal elders at Pakistan House, he discussed healthcare challenges and possible improvements. During an open court (Khuli Kachehri) in Sui, he consulted with elected representatives and local citizens, issuing immediate directions to resolve most of their concerns on the spot.
The Health Minister announced the immediate provision of modern ambulances for Sui and Bekar. He also said that, on the special directives of the Chief Minister, mobile health units would soon be dispatched to areas where health facilities are currently unavailable.
Bakht Muhammad Kakar highlighted that activating health centers in remote areas is a central part of the government’s health reform agenda. He appreciated the efforts of young doctors and medical staff, urging them to continue serving the people with commitment and dedication.
He further said that the health sector in Balochistan is being aligned with modern requirements, and hospital facilities will be continuously upgraded to ensure the provision of quality healthcare across the province.
