Quetta (Staff Report)
The Meteorological Department has predicted that most districts of Balochistan will continue to experience hot and dry weather. Quetta and surrounding areas are expected to remain clear, while the coastal belt is likely to face partly cloudy conditions.
According to the Met Office, Quetta recorded a maximum temperature of 32°C, while Kalat stood at 29°C, Ziarat at 24°C, and Zhob at 34°C. In the plains, temperatures remained significantly higher, with Sibi recording 40°C, Turbat 39°C, Nokkundi 39°C, and Chaman 34°C. Meanwhile, Gwadar recorded 32°C and Jiwani 30°C.
The department further cautioned that hot and dry conditions are likely to persist in most plain districts of the province for the coming days.
