: In a major step to strengthen public trust, Islamabad Police have announced that addressing citizens’ complaints is now their top priority.
Deputy Inspector General of Police (DIG) Islamabad, Muhammad Jawad Tariq, while holding an open court session, directed officers to ensure immediate redressal of grievances. The initiative comes under the directives of Inspector General of Police (IGP) Islamabad, Syed Ali Nasir Rizvi, who has instructed senior officers across the district to organize similar open forums.
DIG Tariq emphasized that citizens can also lodge complaints directly through the IGP Complaint Cell 1715. He reaffirmed the police’s commitment to connect effectively with the community and resolve issues promptly.
Zonal Superintendents of Police (SPs) have been tasked to regularly conduct open courts in their respective areas to facilitate direct engagement with the public.
This initiative encourages residents to voice their concerns openly and highlights Islamabad Police’s dedication to public satisfaction, safety, and community welfare.
