District Support Manager of PPHI, Dr. Murshid Dashti, carried out detailed monitoring visits to several Basic Health Units (BHUs) including Mundi, Chib Kalmat, and Nagor Sharif.
During the visits, he inspected OPD registers, staff attendance, availability of medicines, medical equipment, and stock records. He directed the staff to ensure timely and quality healthcare delivery to patients.
Dr. Dashti stressed that staff presence and availability of essential medicines at BHUs are crucial for building public trust and strengthening healthcare services in rural areas. He reaffirmed PPHI’s commitment to ensuring access to primary healthcare at the doorstep of remote communities, with recommendations for further improvements noted during the inspections.
