Gwadar, Sept 30 : The Balochistan government has strengthened Gwadar’s health sector by appointing new medical staff, vaccinators, and health workers to boost immunization in remote areas, especially targeting women and children.

According to the District Health Office Gwadar, 26 new staff members, including lady health workers, vaccinators, and technicians, have joined duty. Health officials stressed that these appointments will empower women and enhance maternal and child healthcare in hard-to-reach communities.

The initiative complements ongoing government investments in hospitals, trauma centers, and rural health units under PSDP 2025-26, alongside the Pak-China Friendship Hospital under CPEC, ensuring better coverage of polio and other vaccination campaigns.
