Governor and Chief Minister Balochistan Condemn Quetta and Pishin Stop Attacks, Oversee Emergency Response

Quetta, Sep. 30, : Governor Balochistan Jafar Khan Mandokhel and Chief Minister Mir Sarfaraz Bugti strongly condemned the recent terrorist attacks in Quetta and near Pishin Stop FC Headquarters, which resulted in casualties among innocent civilians.
Governor Jaffar Khan Mandokhel expressed deep sorrow over the loss of lives and injuries caused by the attacks. He directed authorities to provide immediate medical treatment and all necessary facilities to the injured. The Governor also stressed that law enforcement agencies should use all available resources to apprehend those involved in the attacks, emphasizing that national unity and solidarity can foil terrorist designs. He offered prayers for the martyrs’ forgiveness and the speedy recovery of the wounded.
Chief Minister Mir Sarfaraz Bugti praised the swift and effective response of security forces, noting that four terrorists were neutralized during the Quetta attack. He said that cowardly acts of terrorism cannot break the nation’s spirit and assured that the sacrifices of security personnel and civilians will not go in vain. The Chief Minister reaffirmed the government’s commitment to making Balochistan peaceful and secure and expressed solidarity with the families of the martyrs, while praying for the quick recovery of the injured.
Following the Pishin Stop explosion, 19 injured individuals were initially treated at Civil Hospital Quetta’s Accident & Emergency Department and then transferred to the Trauma Center for further treatment. Dr. Arbab Kamran, MD Trauma Center, and Dr. Hadi Kakr, MS Civil Hospital, are supervising medical activities to ensure timely and effective care.
Additionally, over 100 units of blood have been delivered to hospitals across Quetta, confirmed Dr. Afzal Zarkoon, Director of the Regional Blood Center. He stated that the center is fully prepared to respond to any emergency, and the public is encouraged to donate blood at any city blood center to support the victims.
