Rawalpindi, September 30, 2025 — Pakistan on Tuesday successfully conducted the training launch of its indigenously developed Fatah-4 Ground-Launched Cruise Missile, significantly strengthening the country’s long-range strike and defense capabilities.
With an effective range of 750 kilometers, the advanced missile system is equipped with cutting-edge avionics and modern navigational aids. According to Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), Fatah-4’s terrain-hugging flight path enables it to evade sophisticated enemy missile defense systems and strike targets with pinpoint accuracy.
Part of the Pakistan Army Rocket Force Command, the Fatah-4 enhances the Army’s conventional missile arsenal, providing greater reach, lethality, and survivability in modern warfare.
The launch was observed by the Chief of General Staff, senior officials of the Pakistan Armed Forces, and teams of dedicated scientists and engineers who contributed to its successful development.
The President of Pakistan, Prime Minister, Chairman Joint Chiefs of Staff Committee, and Services Chiefs congratulated the participating troops, scientists, and engineers for the successful test, praising their role in advancing the nation’s defense technology.
Defense analysts note that the induction of the Fatah-4 represents a major step forward in Pakistan’s quest for indigenous defense production, strategic deterrence, and regional security balance.
