Gwadar, 1 October 2025 — Coordinator for Water and Power and Chairman of Gwadar Port Authority, Noor-ul-Haq Baloch, visited the Choudh Pumping Station along with Director General of Gwadar Development Authority, Engineer Moeen-ur-Rahman. The visit included Chief Engineer GDA Syed Muhammad Baloch, Additional Deputy Commissioner Dr. Abdul Shakoor, PD Water Project Mir Jan Baloch, Engineer Qambar Baloch, and other officials.
During the visit, the Chief Engineer briefed that water from Shadi Kor Dam is being transmitted to the Choudh Pumping Station and will reach the Airport Water Station by late night. From Thursday onwards, water from Shadi Kor Dam will begin to supply Gwadar city, along with tankers from Mirani Dam.
Noor-ul-Haq Baloch emphasized that the supply of water through Shadi Kor Dam, desalination plants, and tankers is being ensured to provide relief to the public. He expressed his commitment that all relevant agencies are working in a coordinated manner to overcome the water crisis in Gwadar.
