Quetta, 1st October: Pakistan Muslim League (N) Balochistan Parliamentary Leader and Provincial Minister for Communications and Works, Mir Saleem Ahmed Khosa, stated that Balochistan has suffered from serious governance and law and order challenges over the past two decades. The current coalition provincial government has taken concrete steps over the past two years, whose positive impacts are now becoming clearly visible in the lives of ordinary citizens.
These measures include public welfare initiatives, infrastructure improvements, skill development programs for youth, investment in health and education sectors, and a comprehensive policy to maintain law and order.
Mir Saleem Ahmed Khosa highlighted that Chief Minister Balochistan, Mir Sarfraz Bugti, not only involves his cabinet and the assembly in decision-making but also consults allied parties and political leaders outside the parliament, reflecting Balochistan’s tradition of strong political consultation.
He added that the Chief Minister enjoys strong support from the leaders of major political parties at the federal level. Guidance from Mian Muhammad Nawaz Sharif, Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif, and President Asif Ali Zardari has been instrumental for the provincial government, while PML-N central leaders Sardar Ayaz Sadiq and Ishaq Dar continue to provide ongoing advice to improve governmental policies.
The provincial minister further said that to address Balochistan’s most critical issue, law and order, both political and military leadership are playing an active role. Security forces remain vigilant to maintain peace and enjoy full political and administrative support from the provincial government. In warfare, security forces act decisively, while the provincial government maintains a clear and responsible stance in law enforcement.
Mir Saleem Ahmed Khosa stated that under Chief Minister Mir Sarfraz Bugti, the current government ensures consultation with allied parties and relevant stakeholders in every political and administrative decision, promoting transparency and political harmony. Pakistan Muslim League (N) Balochistan stands alongside the Chief Minister in every step toward the province’s welfare, development, and peace, aiming to provide the people of Balochistan with a peaceful, prosperous, and better future.
